This steep, half-day climb over forested and rocky terrain culminates in views of Comox Lake and the Cruickshank River. Hike this trail in early to midsummer and you may catch vivid displays of alpine and subalpine wildflowers such as harebells and lupines. At lower elevations watch for killdeer nesting on bare rock faces, in addition to rare displays of Pacific dogwood, coral root orchids, and nodding onions. This trail is located off Comox Lake Main south of Strathcona Park and requires a short drive on rough roads. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
