A short walk through the trees. This is the perfect hike if you’ve been driving for some time and just want to get out of the car to stretch your legs on a short walk. The trail, which begins by crossing Sinclair Creek on a wooden foot bridge, starts out with a moderate climb through a series of switchbacks. You will hear Redstreak Creek beneath you to your left (north) as you pass through a forest filled with lodgepole pine, white spruce, Douglas fir, and aspen. Approximately 1.0 kilometer into the trail you can catch a glimpse of Redstreak Mountain (2,156 m) through the trees to your right (south); otherwise, views are very limited. The trail ends abruptly alongside trickling Redstreak Creek in this heavily forested valley. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
