On this short interpretive hike, you can learn about the natural evolution that takes place after a forest fire. This short, easy, interpretive hike is perfect for stretching those driving legs; it’s good for all fitness levels. The trail consists of two loops: an upper walk through the charred lodgepole pine forest and a lower interpretive trail. Both can be completed in under thirty minutes Beware, though, staying so close to the highway has its drawbacks; traffic noise is apparent regardless of where you are on this trail. There are washrooms in the parking area. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
