The Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec regions (formerly Coeur-du-Québec) are an amalgam of diverse regions located on either shore of the St. Lawrence. Located halfway between Québec City and Montréal, this large region runs from north to south, linking the three types of geographical formations that make up the Québec territory: the Canadian Shield, the St. Lawrence plain and a small parcel of the Appalachian Mountains. The city of Trois-Rivières is generally considered the heart of the Centre-du-Québec region. The second city founded in New France, Trois-Rivières was initially a fur-trading post before turning to an industrial vocation with the inauguration of the Forges du Saint-Maurice in 1730. A vast region of lakes, rivers and forests, a veritable kingdom for hunting and fishing, opens up to the north, while to the south, both shores of the St. Lawrence are lined with rural areas where the land is still divided according to the old seigneurial system. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
