The second-largest city in Québec, Laval occupies a large island north of Montréal, Île Jésus, which has shores on Lac des Deux-Montagnes, Rivière des Prairies and Rivière des Mille-Îles. In 1965, the 14 farming villages on Île Jésus joined together to form the city of Laval. Today, some 355,000 people live in Laval, which still has no real downtown core. A large residential and industrial suburb, Laval has nevertheless managed to preserve some of its architectural heritage, as well as a number of large spaces used for agriculture or outdoor activities. This trail guide includes hiking trails at Centre de la Nature de Laval, Parc de la Riviere-des-Mille-Iles, Bois Papineau, and Bois Chomedy. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
