If you are looking for a destination for a country spin, one close to picnic facilities by the shore of a placid lake, then this provincial park may be the spot you are seeking. You have a gentle walk, too, not only round the lake but with a detour to some falls as well if you wish more exercise. To reach this spot as you come from the west, use the Dewdney Trunk Road, less busy than Highway 7 (Lougheed Highway). East of Haney you pass the quaintly named Websters Corners, then some 10 km (6 mi) beyond it (noting in passing Wilson Road on your right, should you wish to return by Highway 7), you come to Bell Road going off left. On this you travel north until, at its end, you must turn left again to enter the park. Its developed area is on the lake’s south side, with the part reserved for day use near its western end. Here, by an open beach, is the sign for the start of the lake trail. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
