Situated in the heartland of Pitt Meadows, this walk has much to offer: low-level, easy walking and magnificent mountain scenery amid the peace and serenity of a countryside far removed from cities and highways. To reach the start, turn left off Highway 7 (Lougheed Highway) onto Dewdney Trunk Road just east of the Pitt River bridge. Turn left again at the T-junction onto Harris Road and continue along it for 2.5 km (1.6 mi) to a bridge over the Alouette River. Park here on the south bank. On foot, you head upstream on the busiest section of dyke, carrying recreationists of all sorts and conditions as well as the occasional farm machine, for the land south of here is highly developed agriculturally. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
