On this outing along the South Arm of the Fraser River the walker must share the trail with cyclists and, on the road sections, with motorists as well, but that should be no deterrent to the cooperatively minded. It is an ideal cool-weather walk when shade is of no consequence, for there is none; it is also a walk that may be started at either end, and even partway along, for there are numerous access points. To reach the upstream end, drive south through Richmond on Highway 99, turn off west on Steveston Highway (Exit 32), then almost immediately go left on No. 5 Road, driving south to its end, where it veers right into River Road. Continue past the Dominion Bridge building to just beyond the bridge over a slough to find parking by the Woodwards Landing picnic area. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
