Hope Mountain is due south of the town of Hope, and from the top the streets of town seem only a stone’s throw away. There are also fine views up the Fraser River to Yale and down-river to Chilliwack. To the south is an interesting view of Silver Lake and the north end of the Silver–Skagit Valley. From the parking area two trails also lead to Wells Peak, although they are not described in this guide. The trail drops west into the plantation and the head of Four Mile Creek. It would be a muddy route without all the logs and planks that have been laid down. Uphill on the west side of the valley you pick up an old logging road and follow it to a junction where one of the Wells Peak trails turns south as you turn right and head north towards Hope Mountain.

Trails.com currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
