The attraction of Mount Laughington is primarily its location with regard to the Cheam Range. Where Mount MacFarlane gives you a full-on view of the range from Cheam to Foley Peaks, Mount Laughington gives you that same view but in super wide-angle. The peaks are just on the other side of Airplane Creek—almost close enough to touch. Airplane Creek is also the access route for ascents of Knight, Baby Munday and Stewart Peaks and The Still. The other attractive feature of Mount Laughington is the relative ease of ascent if Airplane Creek Road is drive-able. The spectacular views, from the top, to the south are a bonus. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
