Mount MacFarlane is at the north end of the spectacularly rugged ridge running north from Slesse Mountain. As well as the view to Slesse and the Border Peaks, the top offers a side-on view of the complete Cheam Range: Cheam, Lady, Knight, Baby Munday, Stewart, The Still, Welch and Foley Peaks. You do not have to hike all the way to MacFarlane, however; the two Pierce Lakes, upper and lower, both make satisfying destinations. The trail is maintained by the Chilliwack Outdoor Club under the Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia’s Adopt-a-Trail Program and it has seen substantial work in the last few years. Much of that work has involved re-routing the trail around a major landslide. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
