This is a hike that takes you into the high country between Alouette and Stave Lakes. From the summit are fine views over Stave Lake and several smaller lakes north and east. To the west, those familiar peaks of the Golden Ears group look a little less familiar from this side: Mount Robie Reid dominates the northern skyline and to the east are the ranges that lie between you and the Chehalis Valley. From here, too, you may see how logging has cleared the ridges in every direction; this is a very different scene from that which the Rev. William Crickmer must have surveyed when he served as pastor at Langley and Yale between 1859 and 1862. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
