The area around Garibaldi Lake is the jewel in the crown that is Garibaldi Provincial Park. There is a large turquoise lake with glaciers flowing into it, wild mountain scenery, volcanic landscapes and colourful flower meadows. No matter how often you experience this place, it is breathtaking every time. The hike described here is a one-day trip that loops up through the meadows below Black Tusk and descends past Garibaldi Lake. This area is deservedly one of the most popular hiking destinations in southwestern British Columbia. There will be crowds unless you go late in the season, but then you’d miss the flowers. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
