Blowdown Pass is on the divide between Cayoosh Creek and Cottonwood Creek, a tributary of the Stein River. It is therefore one of the access routes, albeit a long one, to the Stein Valley Heritage Provincial Park. There is a beautiful lake with campsites before the pass, and the meadows on the slopes above are spectacularly colourful if you time it right. A mine road leads from the Duffey Lake Road through the pass and another 10 km (6.2 mi) down Cottonwood Creek to the closed Silver Queen Mine. Gott Peak is an easy hike up the open ridge from the pass. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
