A short trail with 1,200 feet in elevation and options for more adventurous hikers, with stunning views of the Worthington Glacier. Another of Alaska’s fine crop of drive-up glaciers, Worthington has the distinction of being 3 miles down the road from the state’s snowiest weather-recording station, Thompson Pass, where 81 feet fell in the winter of 1952–1953. As you might guess from the setting, this is a popular recreation site, especially on clear days
