Whalebone Creek offers paddling in an extensive, pristine freshwater marsh filled with birds and wild rice. Selden Creek offers great paddling and also camping on a gorgeous Connecticut River island. Across from the island, more marshlands beg to be explored. Novice paddlers should avoid this area.
