This pleasant, shady, cool, and narrow slope- side trail is a hiker’s perspective of the wild and scenic Smith River. The hike encompasses a woodsy experience that overlooks the redwood canopy with the sound of the powerful rush of the Wild Smith below. The trail descends to the bank of Craig’s Creek where it pours into the jade pools at the confluence of the South Fork of the Smith River.
