The Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass ride is mack-daddy (to those over thirty, it’s groovin’). On top of plush terrain and the rich groves of aspen, the trail includes awe-inspiring descents through hillside meadows and dense forests, as well as technical rocky and rooty climbs. Views from the top of Georgia Pass and the Continental Divide are breathtaking, including the entire South Park Valley below. The town of South Park, incidentally, was the inspiration for the quirky fictional town in Comedy Central’s popular cartoon series South Park. South Park City, a restored mining town located in South Park, offers a glimpse into life of a nineteenth-century Colorado mining town. Terrain: Singletrack and doubletrack. Most of this route rolls over smooth, soft forest earth. There are, however, a few rougher sections of roots and rocks. Aspen and evergreen forests, high alpine valleys, and mountain passes form the backdrop to this incredible ride..
