Reynolds Park is an oftentimes-overlooked riding area for those on the Front Range. Its inconspicuous hideout along Foxton Road secludes it from more well-known area rides. However, this, as well as its diversity of terrain and its fine singletrack, makes this area worth riding. Along the trail riders climb to panoramic views of Rampart Range and Pikes Peak, then they descend over moderately technical rocky and sloping terrain. Hill climbers will appreciate the grueling initial ascent along the Elkhorn and Raven’s Roost Trails. A second climb occurs roughly midway through the ride. WhilE not as long as the first climb, its late arrival does challenge anyone’s lung capacity. Terrain: Singletrack and doubletrack that roll through open meadows and dense forests and open to expansive views.
