While there are many square miles of Denver Mountain Parks along the Front Range, few are large enough to support a good mountain biking experience. O'Fallon is the exception. While not terribly long, it is a stout climb with a nice quick return on a variety of single-track trail surface and trail widths. Really consider the trail option to make for a longer, more fun ride. Cross the bridge over Bear Creek and climb on wide trail. An obvious narrow single-track trail takes off from the wide trail on your right (0.4). Take this narrow trail and continue climbing on generally smooth and sometimes sandy trail passing a trail split on your left (the ride option). Keep going straight and continue to climb. Near mile 1.1 the single track joins a dirt road. Turn right and continue to climb on the road, quickly passing a two-track trail on your right. TERRAIN: Hardpack; some ruts and sand.
