American Indians used Webster Pass for many years before the arrival of the white man. Prospectors first traveled the pass in the 1860s. In 1878, the Webster brothers built a wagon road over the crossing. This Trail Guide consists of a large group of interconnected off-road and off-highway drives in the Arapaho National Forest Area. It includes: Webster Pass Trail, Handcart Gulch Trail, Red Cone Peak Trail, Radical Hill Trail, Deer Creek Road, Saints John and Glacier Ridge Trail, Santa Fe Peak Trail, and Middle Fork of the Swan Trail.
