A beautiful, easy ride along the shoreline of Barr Lake. Great views to the Indian Peaks and Rocky Mountain National Park. In fact, you can see for 100 miles in a north and south direction up and down the Front Range. This ride offers a different experience than most rides along the Front Range and offers a welcome relief from the steep hills along the foothills and the mountains. This is one of the best spots along the Front Range for wildlife viewing, and there are several spots along the trail where you can stop and look for the many species of birds and mammals that call this special place home. This is great ride for the whole family to get out and enjoy some excellent riding in a wonderful wildlife area. Tread: 9.2 miles on doubletrack.
