A tight and twisting network of over ten miles of singletrack and doubletrack provides enough loops to keep you riding most of the morning. The less experienced biker can enjoy the challenge of the sandy doubletrack that bisects this jointly owned and managed Volusia County property. The singletrack sections contain some of the most technical off-road riding in Florida. Although this site is among the most heavily used in the area, drawing bikers here from all over the state on a regular basis, its future as an off-road course is uncertain. The terrain is untypically steep and prone to quick, massive erosion. An area in the middle of the preserve has been declared off-limits to all. The elevation changes along the sharper contours of an inland dune, which is shaded by a thick canopy of hardwoods and saw palmetto.
