This 19-mile loop is a perfect ride for beginners. The trail surface covers 3 miles of pavement, 12 miles of gravel road, and 4 miles of rough and scenic four-wheel-drive road. The gravel roads along the southern edge of the loop pass through open farm country, with the cleared countryside exposing views of the Boston Escarpment. The long, narrow profile of Point Peter Mountain extends like a ship's prow across the western skyline. This mountain is a local landmark, visible from the north, east, and west for miles. This trail is located 12 miles northwest of Marshall.
