Cape Chignecto forms the westernmost point of Cumberland County and is located approximately 50 miles southwest of Amherst. Impressed by the scenery along the park's coastline, we were easily persuaded by the park staff at the entrance to ride its only bike trail. Equipped with the park's detailed brochure, we were able to appreciate the scenery and the geological significance of the topography on our ride to Spicer's Cove. Ridden point-to-point with a vehicle shuttle, the ride is 9 miles in length. It is an intermediate doubletrack trail that follows the old Eatonville Road, with frequent climbs and descents. The ride requires good physical fitness for the first hill, on which you will gain 600 feet, and on subsequent hills, where you will frequently lose and regain up to 330 feet. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
