The trail is located west of Corner Brook, off of the Trans-Canada Highway. The route is a 16.8-mile out-and-back that wanders somewhere close to Pinchgut Lake. Following a series of active and former logging roads, the ride is suitable for intermediate riders and even plucky beginners. The trail surface is hard-packed and predictable, which is good, because a good portion of it lies underwater. This is perhaps the number one reason local riders favor this ride: a series of long, deep puddles guarantees wet feet, at least, and lots of laughs. For those looking to lengthen the ride, create a loop, or merely avoid riding along the paved shoulder of the Trans - Canada Highway at the start, this ride can be combined with Lady Slipper Road - 12-Mile Dam. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
