The trail is in Fundy National Park. This ride follows an old cart track through heavily wooded terrain, rolling across a series of hills and valleys created by fast-flowing streams. It is a 9.8-mile out-and-back excursion that is well signed and easy to follow. The trail is hard-packed and includes sections of grassy doubletrack as well as gravel and loose rock. Although the ride requires only basic bike handling skills, its grueling hills demand cardiovascular fitness and endurance. That said, this ride makes an excellent overnight trip for hardy riders equipped with racks and panniers. The mouth of the Goose River is a peaceful place to linger, and the primitive campsites available are possibly the most beautiful in the park.
