This trail is located south of Whistler. As part of the route of the Cheakamus Challenge mountain bike race, this trail gets a lot of use. It combines wide doubletrack with a few singletrack connectors to create at 12.7 km (7.62 miles) one-way ride that parallels the winding Cheakamus River. Along the way it rolls past several picturesque ponds covered with yellow pond lilies. Following a short stretch of pavement, you head back onto doubletrack, cross the river again, and climb to the crest of a short, sharp hill. Turning back downhill, you then get a long, fast roll that takes you past several panoramas with views to Mount Sproat to the north. Finally, plug your nose and roll your way through the municipal dump to rejoin Highway 99 at Function Junction. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
