The Blaeberry river Road mixes wide gravel roads with some breathtaking views along its 17.88-mile out-and-back route. It begins by winding along the lush slopes at the base of Fisher Peak, where the constant meltwaters of the Freshfield Icefield have soaked its slopes and created an amazingly such landscape. As you cross the river and begin climb, the views quickly expand. At first you notice the lush avalanche slopes on Fisher Peak, along with the ribbonlike waterfall that cascades along its face. As you climb even higher, the Freshfield Icefield becomes clearly visible along the western horizon. While you roll your way through this rugged landscape, it's hard to imagine that the Banff- Jasper Highway winds just over the peaks of the eastern skyline. This major tourist route shuttle millions of visitors each year- yet here, the mountains are silent and the views virtually untouched. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
