If you want to leave civilization behind, but still stick to wide, smooth trails, then Moose Creek Road is perfect for you. It is 10.24-mile out-and-back, that climbs moderately for 2.89 miles and then takes a decidedly uphill tend. You'll discover great views of the peaks of the Vermillion Range, including the grand-daddy, Mount Goodsir. The lower slopes of the Vermillion Range have some lush avalanche slopes, which, along with the new growth occurring in the clear-cuts, makes for excellent bear habitat. The more you climb, the better the views. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
