Redearth Creek separates the sheer faces of Pilot and Copper Mountains. While it is not a technically challenging ride, it does offer a pleasant way to roll your way through the mountains of Banff National Park. This ride also offers possibilities for a great hike-and-bike. From the terminus, hiking trails radiate in many directions. To the west, Shadow Lake is the closest body of water, but longer hikes include Egypt Lake, Ball Pass, and Gibbon Pass. Be sure to have a good map and an early start if you plan to attempt any of these options. Along the ride, your are treated to excellent views toward Copper Mountain on your right an Pilot Mountain to the left. Behind you, the sheer cliffs of the Sawback Range dominate. currently offers topo maps from the entire United States. We plan to expand our topomap database in the future, however this map is not available at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
