This campground is located on the east bank of Kinzua Bay, immediately west of Elijah Run Boat Launch. It’s accessible only by boat or by hiking in via the Morrison Hiking Trail. This is one of the boat-to-campgrounds that actually gets a few hikers. Morrison Trail is an 11.4-mile loop that makes for an easy overnight backpacking trip, so more than a few folks pack their way in. Still, as at Hopewell Boat Access Campground and most of the others like it around Allegheny Reservoir, this campground features steep hillsides, so while hikers can get here, it’s tough for them to access most of the shoreline.
