This campsite is accessible by foot or boat only. Hike-in access is via the North Country National Scenic Trail, with connections to the Tracy Ridge Trail System. Boat-in accesses like this one are by their nature primitive and secluded. There are no boat docks—nothing more obvious in terms of human habitation than picnic tables—so they don’t attract a lot of attention from casual boaters. Only a relative handful of hikers make it this far in either. That means this site, and others like it, offer the opportunity to do some backcountry camping.
