From Wenatchee, you can’t help but notice (and perhaps, fear?) the 4000-plus-foot tabletop ridge that rises high above the eastern banks of the Columbia River. Maybe you’ve always wondered how to get up there on a bike. (If not, turn the page; this ride might not be for you.)
This route gets you to the top, but that’s not all. Should you accept the full-meal deal (including a 2-mile descent down hard-packed gravel road), you’ll be treated to an incredible loop across the Waterville Plateau and a long, fast descent down the Orondo Grade to the Columbia River.
