Icebox Canyon is a beautiful place. Spectacular buttresses and walls of clean sandstone shoot up on either side of you. There are several seasonal waterfalls. And indeed, when it’s very cold occasionally large waterfall ice formations appear; amazingly enough, some of these have even been climbed. As such, it can certainly be cold here, especially in the winter, which makes sense—the place is referred to as Icebox Canyon. This guide includes Frigid Ait Buttress and Necromancer Wall climbs.
