Calico Basin comprises several crags on the northeast side of the Calico Hills. The climbing area is snuggled up to the cliffbands above a handful of rural private plots of land. The area harbors dozens of single-pitch climbs and a few multi-pitch lines as well. One of the main attractions to the Calico Basin is the fact that, at the time of this writing, parking was free, and you do not have to enter the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive to access the climbing here. This guide includes Moderate Mecca/Cannibal Crag/Riding Hood Wall/Cowlick Crag/The Fox Wall/Cut Your Teeth Crag climbs.
