This hike follows the last stretch of Anza’s journey in San Francisco from Mountain Lake to the Golden Gate. Aside from one moderate climb, this route is easy. Hikers can stop for picnics and enjoy three overlooks—Immigrant Point Overlook, the Paci?c Overlook, and the Golden Gate Overlook. Anza’s second expedition has been turned into the 1200-mile Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.
