A series of steps in a creek’s descent to Lake Champlain make for idyllic waterfall viewing. Tucked away in a rural neighborhood in Crown Point, this series of small to mid-size falls create a remarkably picturesque setting for the landowners and neighbors, who share this area with tourists out of the goodness of their own hearts. Respect their privacy and ownership by making a brief visit, and by staying out of the creek and off the surrounding land. From the Adirondack Northway (I-87), take exit 28 for Severance and follow NY 74 East to NY 22/9N. Turn left onto NY 22/9N and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto CR 7 (Vineyard Road, which becomes Bradford Hill Road) and continue 4.4 miles to a T intersection at CR 47 (Middle Road). The first waterfall is on your right under the bridge on Middle Road; there are two more falls slightly upstream, on the other side of the bridge.
