Hike to the bottom of a hidden ravine, cross a swaying cable extension bridge, and ascend to the top of a four-season waterfall on this lushly wooded, secluded trail. Another of the delightful, secluded places within Niagara County, Royalton Ravine created by the flow of the Eastern Branch of Eighteen-mile Creek over thousands of years offers a chance to view a 100-foot-deep cross section of the county’s fascinating geology. Even more fun than that, however, is the bridge over the creek at the bottom of the ravine, a swaying 195-foot expanse of wooden planks suspended from cables.
