Happily, the neighborhood has seen a huge resurgence over the past two decades. The area most people consider Harlem (originally Haarlem, as rendered in Dutch) covers a large swath of northern Manhattan. This tour combines the 110th Street corridor and Morningside Park, a narrow strip of land that is one of the best-improved public parks in Manhattan.
