The U.S. Forest Service is so firmly convinced about the Green Mountain Trail’s lack of use that there isn’t enough space to park more than a couple of vehicles anywhere near the trailhead. This lack of attention is certainly not deserved from a scenery standpoint, as the views down into the lush green canyons, and up to Limestone Ridge, Thurston Peaks, and the central Trinity Alps are superb.
