In junior high school, no one wants to take earth science. Students spend dull hours studying charts of Earth’s layers and scratching one rock against another to see which is harder. It’s too bad they don’t know about White Rocks Overlook and the Ice Beds. They might have a greater appreciation for lessons on the Ice Age and the movement of glaciers and the variety of rocks and how all that affects today’s landscape. You can make this your own exciting “field trip.”
