Before you start, you’ll have sweeping views of Mooselookmeguntic Lake to the west. Once in the woods, you’ll hike into view of Moxie Pond and Long Pond. Just the drive in to the trailhead is worth the effort for this hike. If you park in the scenic overlook area, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the lakes and mountains to the southwest. It is truly a spectacular view.
