Short Walks Near Lake Louise

A nice, short trail that will reward you with treats once you reach the Tea House at the top with Lake Agnes. There were not too many people on the trail this day (mainly due to inclement weather). The trail is not too difficult as there was a 88 year old female with her two sons helping her back down the trail. Quite an accomplishment for her!
This trail is nicely maintained but very busy. We went on a weekday and it was still a steady stream of people. The dense foliage prevented good views of Lake Louise, but you get to see Mirror Lake, Lake Agnes, and a very nice waterfall first hand. The hike to little Behive was worth it and we were able to get some good pictures on that leg.
We went on to Big Bee Hive, then headed down the mountain via Highline Trail, but were forced by wild fires to take a short cut to Plain of Six Glaciers Trial back to Lake Louise. The views as we ascended the trail above Lake Agnes were gorgeous!
