Wow! That’s from both Judy and I. What a great walk and a great day. The lake shore is spectacular. Throw in Half-Way Rock, rhyolite kibbles and bits, Little Brule River, froth rock, and numerous large, old growth trees, and we (dogs included) have had quite the afternoon. It’s a gorgeous day, one of those days when it feels great to be alive, especially if you get to spend it not only on the Superior Hiking Trail, but also on the only section that follows the shore of Lake Superior. Today is one of the Crossing Borders tour days when artists from Duluth to Thunder Bay open their studios to the public. That is really a nice idea. Judy and I agree that our present studio is open for tours every day–rain, sun, or snow–and the artwork is the very best Mother Earth can provide!
