Hemlock Cliffs is one of the most spectacular natural areas in southern Indiana. The trail quickly takes you into a magical world of rock houses (natural rock shelters), filtered sunlight, verdant ferns, and running water. The most popular time to visit is springtime, when the wildflowers generously litter the trail and cling to the cliffs. Tread lightly—the ecosystem is as fragile as it is beautiful.
