Wissahickon Valley Park has so many different trails to choose from that it’s hard to choose just one! The Lavender Trail is a bit off the beaten path and a little less traveled, and it has a waterfall. This trail is actually closed to mountain bikes, so you don’t have to worry about keeping an eye out for traffic. The trailhead is directly behind the kiosk. Head to the right to start your loop hike. The path contains many roots and rocks, so watch your step. The trail is a full-shade dirt path. Depending on the amount of rain, the waterfall on the trail might be just a trickle.
