This easy walk explores a compact but surprisingly varied reservation on the southeast corner of Chappaquiddick Island. Habitats here include pine–oak forest, heathland, and grassland. The mostly level route skirts a lovely pond, visits a sandy beach, and then wanders through wooded and open areas away from the water. This walk is best enjoyed off-season, when the weather is cool and biting insects not a problem.
