This 132.5-acre reservation, consisting mostly of mixed-oak woodland, meadow and pasture, and greenbrier thickets, is home to about 170 plant species and 50 bird species. The route climbs to several high points, where views may be limited by fast-growing trees and shrubs, but doesn’t reach the summit of 311-foot Peaked Hill, the island’s highest point. Note: Trail names (colors) on the latest Land Bank map may not correspond in all cases to signage or to names on older maps.
