This walk in Cape Cod National Seashore takes you from the Province Lands Visitor Center to Race Point Light, on the westernmost tip of Provincetown. The route uses the paved Province Lands Bicycle Trail, the sandy Atlantic shoreline, and a dirt road atop a dike across Hatches Harbor, a beautiful salt mash. Start a few hours before the time of low tide for Race Point to find firm footing on the outer beach and to avoid flooded areas. This walk is best done off-season, on a day without wind.
